M.J. GRIFFIN
Auckland based artist Matt Griffin balances his evolving abilities in multiple fields of what can be called Hyperrealism. Doused in creative motivation as a child, to now pursuing a career inside the dynamic systems of the art world, Matt addresses the glorification of the living world and presents conception to the world stage.
Griffin completed his tertiary education as a Structural Engineer in 2017, but quickly conformed to the boisterous dreams of becoming a part of the New Zealand Art culture. After a successful Solo exhibition during his last year of studies, Griffin
progressed to take the reins and proceed down the path of artistry and creativity.
The demand for Griffin’s work skyrocketed and further advanced to be represented by two galleries, Flagstaff in Devonport, and Parnell Gallery.
Griffin’s work has been presented in multiple art competitions, earning himself awards and gaining the motivation to share more of his work to New Zealand, Aotearoa, and the world stage. His work has gained prominence through group shows, gallery exhibitions and more recently the Art in The Park show which is held at the prestigious Eden Park Stadium.
